From Bulldog Film Distribution, the drug drama – Anchorage – will have a dual release in select cinemas and Curzon Home Cinema on 1st September. Here’s what they had to say:

Two brothers attempt to drive a trunk full of opioids from Florida to Alaska to cash in big in the Land of Gold. A split-second act of violence somewhere in the California desert derails their trip and sets them on a crash course with tragedy.

From the award-winning filmmaking team of Scott Monahan (director, producer) and Dakota Loesch (producer, screenwriter) who also star in the film as brothers Jacob and John, Anchorage offers a drug-addled trip into the heart of America, an ‘Easy Rider’ for the opioid age.
