Hello, this is Dom…

On Netflix, Accused – from the director of Boiling Point – will be available to stream from 22nd September. Here’s what they had to say:

Accused is a tense and gripping new psychological thriller from award-winning Boiling Point director Philip Barantini which looks at racial injustices at the same time as pulling apart the ethics of social media

False accusations mix with the wildfire spread of social media with deadly consequences when twenty-something Harri travels from the city to dog sit for his parents in the countryside. After being mistaken as the suspect of a train bombing in London, would-be heroes of the people track down his house, where Harri must prove his innocence to the online masses and defend his home and himself from the violent vigilantes.

Accused is directed by Philip Barantini (Boiling Point, Villain) and stars Chaneil Kular (Sex Education), Jay Johnson (Boiling Point, The Keeper), Robbie O’Neill (Boiling Point, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrel), Frances Tomelty (The Amazing Mrs Pritchard, Vanity Fair), Nitin Ganatra (Bride & Prejudice, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Nila Aalia (The Commuter, A Discovery of Witches) and Lauren Ajuyo (Boiling Point, Luther: The Fallen Sun). It is written by Barnaby Boulton and James Cummings and produced by Samantha Beddoe, Sara Sehdev, Ed Caffrey & Rupert Preston.

Many thanks to Alternate Current and Netflix for providing the images above.

Dom.

For John.
