From Blue Finch Film Releasing, the animation, My Father’s Secrets, is to have a release on digital platforms on 27th November, here’s what they had to say:

In the 60s, in Belgium, Michel and his brother Charly live a happy childhood in their Jewish family, while their silent and discreet father, Henri Kichka, refuses to reveal his past. The two brothers imagine him as a great adventurer, pirate, or treasure hunter….but what is he hiding? Unwilling to share his traumatic history of survival in Auschwitz; this is the story of Henri’s children, and their journey to understanding their father’s past. A heartrending yet deeply uplifting tale of remembrance, love and the triumph of the human spirit.

Based on a graphic novel by acclaimed cartoonist Michel Kichka, My Father’s Secrets features a star-studded voice cast including Elliott Gould (The Long Goodbye, M*A*S*H), Miriam Margolyes (Harry Potter franchise), Tracy-Ann Oberman (Doctor Who) and David Baddiel. My Father’s Secrets is directed by Vera Belmont, with David Freeman directing the English language version.
