Hello, this is Dom…
From Miracle Media, the LGBTQ+ comedy, BAM!, is having a digital release on 25th November. Here’s what they had to say:
Wham, thank you ma’am meet BAM! – aka the broke-ass-motherf*ckers – in a fresh and funny queer comedy from one-to-watch director Jordan Tragash in his bold feature debut. The film is a love letter to Chicago and its vibrant community that perfectly captures the highs and lows of being young, hopeful and broke in the big city and is set for UK digital on 25 November courtesy of Miracle Media.
In the hilarious, heartwarming and all too relatable BAM! we join Auggie (Tuxford Turner), Eve (Tip Sayarath), Dee (Brandon Wright), Bibi (Kalil Sims), Cici (Noah Lash) and Faye (Kiyumi Daniel) – six 20-something gig economy workers, all trying to make ends meet and have a blast in Chicago.
Auggie, a non-binary bike messenger, delivers sex toys for a local shop and meets Bibi, Ciciand Eve through their mutual friend Dee, an affable but exhausted drug dealer. When Dee leaves for a much-needed holiday, he hands over his business to Bibi and Cici – who quickly realise they need better transport to handle deliveries across the city. Desperate, they steal bikes, accidentally taking Auggie’s only means of getting around.
As if things couldn’t get worse, Auggie gets locked out of their apartment and turns to Eve for help, sparking a connection neither saw coming. Meanwhile, Dee’s holiday spirals into disaster and he races back to salvage his business and the mess his crew has made. Butthe shit really hits the fan when the whole gang crosses paths in a wild, eye-popping, shocking showdown.
Full of fun and humour, BAM! is a warm and riotous romp through the trials and tribulations of friendship and community and shows how a little kindness can go a long way.
Many thanks to Aim Publicity and Miracle Media for providing the images above.
