Hello, this is Dom…
From Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment, the new family animation, The Land of Sometimes, will be released in UK cinemas on 20th March. Here’s what they had to say:
Based on the original audiobook by Francesca Longrigg, The Land Of Sometimes comes from the producers of Saving Santa, Toy Story, and How to Train Your Dragon, and with new songs by three-time Academy Award® winner Tim Rice (The Lion King, Aladdin, Evita).
Twins Alfie and Elise get more than they bargained for after summoning the mysterious Wish Collector, an enigmatic character who whisks them away to The Land of Sometimes – an incredible place where all four seasons pass in just one day. Granted with a total of six wishes, the pair soon learn that they’ll need to be careful what they wish for, embarking on a magical, musical journey filled with fantastical creatures and a truth that shines brighter than any wish: the power of family.
This stunning animated adventure features an all-star voice cast including Ewan McGregor (Star Wars franchise, Christopher Robin), Helena Bonham Carter (Harry Potter franchise, Alice in Wonderland), Alisha Weir (Matilda: The Musical, Abigail), Asa Butterfield (Sex Education, Hugo, Ender’s Game) Mel Brooks (The Producers, Blazing Saddles), and Terry Jones (Monty Python series).
Many thanks to Strike Media and Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment for providing the images above.
Dom.
