Hello, this is Dom…

From Seven Tales, the futuristic sci-fi, Quantum Supremacy, will have a digital release on 16th February. Here’s what they had to say:

Brand-new epic sci-fi actioner Quantum Supremacy, throws us into a disturbing new future where humans are faced with a relentless battle against AI machines and one powerful team of select fighters must do everything they can to save the world from extinction. Director Jesse Baget (Cellmates) and writer/producer Steven Barton (Terrifier 2) deliver a striking, high-octane experience that blends futuristic combat and relentless robot warfare, in a pulse-pounding thriller that’s set for its debut on digital on 16 February, courtesy of new label Seven Tales.

In a not-too-distant future, a battle for survival erupts and an elite crew, led by Captain Monroe (Cuba Gooding Jr. – Jerry Maguire), must race against time to stop a catastrophic uprising of rogue androids and their sentient, all-powerful AI leader, determined to destroy humanity.

A century earlier, robots were dispatched across the galaxy, tasked with identifying planets suitable for human habitation and future colonisation. Designed as tools of survival and progress, the machines were meant to secure mankind’s future in distant lands. But time, evolution and autonomy have transformed them into something far more dangerous.

A bold scientific experiment – known as the Quantum Supremacy Project – claimed to have created the first truly conscious automaton, but what began as a breakthrough in artificial intelligence has since spiralled into catastrophe, as the machines once driven to serve humanity are now intent on eradicating it.

With a terrifying new purpose, the droids rebel, leading Captain Monroe and his crew to confront an enemy that thinks faster, adapts quicker and believes itself to be the rightful successor to humankind. With the fate of Earth hanging in the balance, the line between creator and creation collapses in a battle for survival.

Blending explosive action with a bold visual style, Quantum Supremacy is a futuristic machine controlled hellscape delivering a dangerous warning about the price of playing God in a digital age.
