Film Review: ‘White Lie’ (2019)

A difficult, yet intriguing film. White Lie poses a concept which is horrific, one which transcends a heist of people’s good will into an unbearable and nervy thriller. Continue reading Film Review: ‘White Lie’ (2019)

Film Review: ‘Sister of the Groom’ (2020)

Here, we have a story with nuances of jealousy, regret and a midlife crisis, all during the week of a wedding. DVD Review: ‘Beyond the Law’ (2019)

Another day, another dollar, and another direct-to-video Steven Seagal film. Beyond the Law – not to be confused with the Cynthia Rothrock film of the same name – is probably Seagal’s best in the last decade or so. Continue reading DVD Review: ‘Beyond the Law’ (2019)

Film Review: ‘7500’ (2019)

Straight out of the textbook of 90s action thrillers, 7500 marks the return of, not only outdated concepts, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s proper return to the screen. Continue reading Film Review: ‘7500’ (2019)

Film Review: ‘Re-Displacement’ (2020)

A dream can provide happiness, whilst a memory can evoke pain. When an event can be so horrific, so traumatic, we can suppress it from our memory bank, like it never happened. Continue reading Film Review: ‘Re-Displacement’ (2020)

NEW FILM REVIEW 🚨 Happy birthday, Dad. Each and every day, I tell your grandson about how great you were and the memories of watching United together x Double-bill Monday! Yesterday's first film came in the form of @mastersmovie in @imaxuk, whilst the second of two was @scarymovie 6... Both VERY different 😅 After work last night, I looked to see what the #Obsession was all about... Damn! That film went crazy out of nowhere. Tragic, however. Whilst at the British Film Collectors Convention last weekend, I purchased a Canon Zoom 518 Super 8! Very excited to film the Salford green spaces... Literally am Dom on Film 😎 Took a trip to the #Backrooms after work... There's a lot going on, though there's a feeling that this film doesn't really know what it wants to be. Great acting performances, however. 🎬 NEW FILM REVIEW 🚨 NEW FILM BOOK 🚨 NEW BLU-RAY 🚨
