Hello, this is Dom…

From Second Sight Films, the Shane Meadows classic – Dead Man’s Shoes – will be released on 10th August. Here’s what they had to say:

Shane Meadows’s tour-de-force Dead Man’s Shoes is one of the best British films ever made and features one of the most powerful and fearsome performances ever seen on screen from Paddy Considine. Now, the film finally gets the release it deserves as Second Sight Films announces the highly anticipated Dead Man’s Shoes Limited Edition Blu-ray Box Set, set for release this Summer.

Lauded as one of the grittiest and most visceral British revenge dramas ever made, this tense and uncompromising psychological thriller stars Considine – who also co-wrote the film – as Richard, a former soldier who returns to his hometown in Derbyshire. But why has he come back?

Filled with violence, vengeance and simmering menace, Richard embarks on a chilling campaign of revenge against those responsible for devastating past atrocities.

What begins as psychological intimidation gradually escalates into a brutal reckoning as he hunts down the gang members one by one.

Featuring an exceptional cast including Toby Kebbell (RocknRolla, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes)and boxing champion turned actor Gary Stretch (Alexander), who both give outstanding performances, the acclaimed film is set to arrive in this must-own collector’s edition on 10 August 2026.

The set is presented in a stunning rigid slipcase with new artwork by Krishna Shenoi, a 120-page book with new essays, a Graphic Novel and features a slew of fantastic additional content including new audio commentaries and new interviews.

Many thanks to Aim Publicity and Second Sight Films for providing the above images. The Limited Edition Blu-ray release of Dead Man’s Shoes can be pre-ordered here.
