Film Review: ‘End of Days’ (1999)

Having fought against the Predator, the T1000 Terminator, and even Batman… Where does Arnie go next? F*ck it, have him fight THE DEVIL*. Continue reading Film Review: ‘End of Days’ (1999)

For Nerdly.co.uk: “What Goes Around – Review”

Erin (Catherine Morvell) is a vulnerable and reserved college student. Working in a cafe, she is abused and taken advantage of by the customers. It’s unfair, disgusting, and is just another layer of annoyance present in an already difficult life. Continue reading For Nerdly.co.uk: “What Goes Around – Review”

DVD Review: ‘Beyond the Law’ (2019)

Another day, another dollar, and another direct-to-video Steven Seagal film. Beyond the Law – not to be confused with the Cynthia Rothrock film of the same name – is probably Seagal’s best in the last decade or so. Continue reading DVD Review: ‘Beyond the Law’ (2019)

Film Review: ‘7500’ (2019)

Straight out of the textbook of 90s action thrillers, 7500 marks the return of, not only outdated concepts, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s proper return to the screen. Continue reading Film Review: ‘7500’ (2019)

For The Digital Fix: “The Girl with a Bracelet Review”

A remake of Argentina’s The Accused, the French-language drama, The Girl with a Bracelet (La Fille au bracelet) takes its source material’s name to the core – in that the accused is central to the film, rather than the accusation. NEW FILM REVIEW 🚨 My favourite band of over 20 years, I managed to scope out the #IronMaiden documentary last night... Loved it, obviously. 🎬 Johnny F*cking Cage! Ha. Thoroughly enjoyed #MortalKombat II way more than I had expected to, though I do like all of the previous films (even Annihilation). Looked great in IMAX 🎬 NEW FILM REVIEW 🚨 2003 vibes. ❤️ WHAT A WIN! Took Old Mumsy to see Lee Cronin's #TheMummy this morning... Quite enjoyed it! Gruesome AF. Saw reminiscences of The Exorcist, The Omen, Evil Dead etc. 🎬 Ooh, that was an unnecessarily nervous ending! Happy with the win, though... #mufc 🔴⚪️⚫️ NEW 4K 🚨
